Felt at home as soon as we arrived.
The apartment was perfect for us with everything that we could possibly need and more. The biscuits and wine were a lovely gesture as was the Christmas tree!
The location was perfect and hours were spent on the armchair just gazing at the view.
There are plenty of bars/restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance.
I found this apartment great value for money and will be returning for sure.
Stayed for 4 nights with elderly mother. Such a good location with views across the harbour and Torbay. Always something to see.
Access to the apartment was very easy with a lift just outside the door.
We liked it so much that we have booked again next March.
This apartment is absolutely fantastic, perfectly placed for all amenities, clean, cosy and what a view. The parking was a big plus, we left the car in situ and walked everywhere as it is so near to everything. The stairs are a bit of an issue, if like me, you have dodgy knees but once you get up to the apartment it is thoroughly worth it. Nice little touches were provided, as in tea, coffee, biscuits and milk which was most welcoming. We are trying to work out when to go again as we enjoyed it so much.
Thank you for a brilliant stay.
Bay View is wonderful! The views from the windows are fabulous and we had a lovely stay over Christmas. The living room/ kitchen area has windows on three sides so there is always a great view from wherever you are in the room. There are also good views from the two bedrooms. Good cooking facilities and large fridge/freezer made it easy to store food during our stay. We had a fabulous few days and wished we could have stayed longer.
We also received great help from Brixham Holidays. Our stay coincided with the uncertainty of potential lockdown announcements and the help we received during our stay was excellent. Thank you to you all!
Very comfortable house in a great location in Brixham. An easy walk to all the restaurants and the car park space was great.
Dunlin 3 is a credit to its owner who had thought of everything. Clean, smart and very comfortable. Quality accommodation. The gated access is secure but simple to use giving peace of mind. Stunning views.
Had a lovely week at Fishermans Wharf, the cottage was excellent. Owner Matthew was on hand to give guidance on where to visit and the best places to eat. Steps up to the patio were fun but not for the faint hearted. Will definitely like to stay again.
We absolutely loved our stay at Front Row Cottage. The cottage was exactly what we needed, very well equipped and the stunning views from each window made our stay very special. We wouldnÃÂt hesitate to recommend a stay here and will be back.
A nice apartment on the harbour. Handy for shops and restaurants. Very useful that it had an allocated parking space.
I just love midships it's where I love to go to rest and relax. It is spotlessly clean and everything you need is there for you. The town is so close but it is just as nice to sit and look at the amazing view over the harbour. It was even more lovely to spend a few days at midships last week after this awful year and I will be back again in the spring.
A very enjoyable stay in devon in october Osprey 1 well positioned very warm and comfortable spacious and brilliant views.
Amazing place to stay if you are a big family who donÃÂt want to be under each otherÃÂs feet the whole holiday.
Emma and John are very friendly and always on hand if you need anything.
Close to everything you need from a stay in Brixham with the added bonus of safe parking a few minutes walk from the house.
just what we wanted for family birthday 7 day break it suited our needs admirably.congrats on prompt action when no hot water reported.
My fiance and I were really pleased with our stay, the apartment was wonderful and the location is excellent. We will certainly be back again in the future
Excellent stay. Warm, roomy and ideally located for access to Brixham and local walks/beaches.
Everything at the property was spotless and the owners had thought of everything. Also very secure. Would I stay again. Definitely
We loved our stay! If I had to make a criticism it would be parking and directions. There is no name sign on the cottage, just a number, we clearly didnÃÂt read the welcome pack properly as didnÃÂt know it was number 10! Drove round for a while looking for Rock Cottage, would recommend a name plate on the front wall.
The roads are horrendous if you have a bigger car, we have an Outlander, and literally only just squeezed down North View Road, if another car had come down it would have been horrendous lol
Apartment was perfect for our short stay. Everything seemed to be in working order. The location was amazing. Hopefully we will return in the future.
Comfortable warm cottage, comfy bed, everything you need. Gets you fit walking up and down steps each day! One downside for us was the house in front having some scaffolding up which didnt block the view completely but was always evident. Luckily no workmen apparent as this would have been a problem.
Great having a Smart tv and access to Netflix during Storm Dennis!!!
Absolutely stunning apartment, just 5 minutes walk from Brixham town centre. Parking is provided down by the harbour and has CCTV so felt safe, then it's straight up some stairs to the flat. Amazing views over the harbour, especially in the evening when all the Christmas lights were on. Apartment itself was immaculate, probably the cleanest place I've ever stayed in and the wine left in the fridge for us was a lovely touch. Overall, very pleased with our stay and will definitely book again!
Really enjoyed our stay at Smugglers for my husbands 70 birthday as a surprise. Very cosy and all amenities . Beautiful views over the harbour. Luckily weÃÂre pretty fit do the steep steps no barrier. Would definitely come again and hopefully with another couple once the restrictions are lifted again. Thanks for a memorable stay
Everything was as you would want on a holiday, I really can't fault it. From information on how to find and enter the property to tourist information, everything was helpful.
Very enjoyable holiday, Tom's Nest had all you need for an enjoyable holiday, comfortable with a great view overooking the marina. Brixham centre with plenty of places to eat was an easy walk away.
House was very clean and tidy with just the right amount of room to accommodate our family, five adults and a child. Kitchen was small but very well equipped with all that we needed. Beds and bedrooms were extremely comfortable and bathrooms were clean.
We have used Brixham holiday homes on several occasions and as usual the whole process was friendly and easy. We will be going back but probably not to this particular house, this is only because of the number of steps to the property from the road coupled with our increasing age. The steps were not a problem for the younger members of the party.
The house was interesting but a few points to note:
For anyone taller than 4 foot the stairs are a challenge due to restricted heights, and the property is on four floors!
The house is right on a busy road, there isnÃÂt even a pavement so you need to be very careful leaving and entering.
The kitchen is quirky but is in need of updating, as does the cooking equipment ie pots and pans, hon, microwave etc.
On a plus side, the views are great, lots of bathrooms and location, road aside, is great with 2 minute walks to pubs, shops and cafes. The WiFi was good (although the TV needs updating) and the service from Brixham Holidays was very good.
Fantastic views, lovely property and great location, as long as you can manage the steps.
Disappointed there was no freezer
Four adults and our little dog stayed for a week in October in the Penthouse. The apartment was immaculately clean for our arrival, the views from the balcony are stunning and must be up there with the best in Brixham. There is a long climb from street level to the front door, we did count 100 steps but you canÃÂt have such a stunning view without an uphill walk. Everything in the town is very close to the apartment, we have to give a special mention to Dilly Dally Tea Room for afternoon tea, WOW!!!
We had a short break in October 2020, location was fab, just a few minutes walk along the harbour to the town. Couldn't fault anything with the property, bonus having garage and parking. Lovely touch of having a pint of milk, coffee, tea and cookies awaiting us on arrival. Good view of harbour and marina from living room, Would definitely book again.
We had a very pleasant stay in Brixham. The apartment is stunning; beautifully presented and in the most wonderful position. We were fortunate with the weather but on the rainy day we had, we were quite happy to sit for a while and just watch all the movements of the fishing boats etc., beneath us.
The bed was extremely comfortable, the linen very clean and fresh and there was plenty of cupboard space in the bedroom.
The car parking space is very tight as you will read in previous reviews. Having read the reviews, we took our smaller car and we were very glad that we did. I think the adjoining neighbours get a bit fed up with large cars parking over the lines and causing a problem.
Overall we had a delightful week. We would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to any of our family or friends.
This apartment is in a lovely area, the views are beautiful even when stormy. It is quite hilly in all of Brixham which can be a little bit challenging with a pushchair but we walked everywhere from this apartmet including the coastal walk.
It was clean, had everything you would need and perfect size for us. The only thing I could fault was the pillows on the bed weren't overly comfortable but that could be personal preference. Already talking about coming back next year.
We stayed as a family of 3 (with a small toddler) for a week and found Curlew 5 to be perfect for us, small and cosy but more than enough room for a family our size. The apartment is set in a very peaceful and quiet security gated complex, we felt very safe throughout our stay. Views out to sea are superb and there is a nice big balcony to sit out on of an evening. Kitchen is compact and well equipped. The walk into brixham is about 15 mins but be aware it is a very steep walk there and back, just something to note if you have a pushchair like we did. We will come to Brixham again and would happily stop at Curlew 5 or any other apartments at the Cove.
This place is fabulous, best views ever! Fabulous in every way, comfy , spacious and nice decor! Loved everything about this place! Canrt wait to go back next gear will definitely be going back here again abd again
Had a lovely stay at marine court nice quiet road with good parking near to sea. Missing bath mats were replaced in under two hours
An absolute fabulous stay at the Watch House, amazing views, amazing location. A great way to spend time in Brixham.
