Fantastic flat in great location, very clean , modern well furnished with great views of Brixham harbour, reserved parking space a great bonus, will stay again.
Thank you, it was perfect in every way. We haven't had a holiday in 8years, staying at no. 64 just made it the perfect holiday. It was very roomy perfect position to watch the movement in the harbour, and very comfortable - we will come again and recommend it to our friends. Thank you
stayed here again ,great location for exploring.free parking for two cars included if you wish to share house.great kitchen well equipped.
17 moorings reach is a fabulous property in the heart of Brixham. A literal stones throw from the water you can sit all day (and night) and watch the boats as the go about their business, whilst soaking up the sea air and spectacular seascape. The property is clean, comfortable and well equipped and the bottle of Prosecco on arrival was a welcome surprise. As you leave you can turn right towards Berry hill or left into town, both are super close. Of course the main benefit is Brixham itself, incredible seafood, rich history and plenty to do. We recommend Shaols, breakwater cafe, the guardhouse, rockfish, and quay 57. Special mention to the little cafe on the cove around the corner from rockfish, incredible crab sarnie.
Recommend this place 100%
You get quite a lot of noise from the fish market 24hrs a day but the views, parking and location far out way the forklifts. If you keep the windows shut its fine.
The fact this was our third visit tells the story.
Excellent location stunning views over the harbour, beautifully furnished with washing machine and dishwasher a bonus.spotlessly clean
Bay View was an ideal base from which to explore Brixham and the surrounding area. The appartment was really clean, modern and well equipped. The views over the bay were lovely.
My second stay at Coral in Brixham.. excellent again and was lovely to be back. I never tire of the view of the harbour from the windows day or night. Nice decor and finishings..my favourites was the bedrooms..very cosy bed and thick carpet and the kitchen dining area.
All areas was spotlessly clean.
Very nice towels esp large bath towels. Once again very happy and will be back again next year. Thank you very much for a perfect stay.
Fantastic location. Very comfortable accommodation with 2 bathrooms. Wonderful views of the harbour.
Had a long weekend with two other couple in this lovely and spacious apartment that was more than adequate for the six of us '
A great ambient with lovely view of the harbour '
Here's to the next time !
The apartment was supper comfortable a proper home from home,it had everything you could possibly need and more. The owner's left lots of lovely welcome gifts that where really appreciated. I would recommend to everyone but especially walker's as the local is fantastic. We have been coming down to Deven for over 30 years and don't think i have stayed somewhere that i felt so comfortable. Looking forward to going back soon.
TheyÃÂre really beautiful apartments with an amazing sea view so if youÃÂre looking at going to visit I highly recommend that you do, lovely and quite, stunning view an not too long of a walk into Brixham (although tiring hehe) itÃÂs always great too that you can use the cafe ab shop in the campsite opposite.
The beds were super comfy, the settees not so much.
Cleanliness in the apartment could of been much better but all round lovely two weeks of peace and quite an time to relax. Already booked another apartment for next year :)
We stayed here with our 2 children (3yo and 5mo) and had a really great time.
The living area was a bit small for us as there wasn't much floor space for our children to play. We also struggled to fit the travel cot into the main bedroom but made it work and all slept well. My toddler found the single bed really comfy (we took our own bed guard) so it would be perfect for one or two older children.
The sofas weren't very comfortable which was a shame as we spent the evenings watching TV once our kids were in bed. However, that wouldn't be an issue if you are staying out longer.
The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked good dinners there most evenings.
The decking was really nice and we would have loved to have spent more time out there had the weather been a bit warmer. The pool also looked like it would be a great addition in the summer months. We went just a week or...
Dry modern and brilliant location. Cleaning not good, big stain on the poof and one chair also shower glass door filthy.
Had a nice stay at Plover 2. We got there around 3pm and the key was there so we let ourselves in. The view was stunning and it was very nice. Had a good stay and had everything we needed.
The cove is a lovely spot . Puffin 4 had everything we needed for our stay .Spotlessly clean .Kitchen had everything you needed and the oven was very clean unlike some other places we have stayed . The bed and sofa were very comfy .The view from the balcony or the sofa were stunning, just above a fabulous cove with a great little cafe . Lovely walks from the door step .A lovely walk into Brixham excellent places to eat we loved SimplyFish, Albero , Prince William and The Old Market House all very good . Some of the best fresh fish I have ever had .
My v small niggle was the bedroom curtains donÃÂt block out the light so I was woken up early . This wouldnÃÂt put me off returning as we had a fabulous stay and will be back .
The two bedrooms are very small to accommodate four adults. Each room had a small wardrobe and a tiny shelf within wardrobe. There is a lack of privacy in the front bedroom as the bed is so big you cannot close the door.
We came to Brixham to visit family and Front Row was the perfect location. A very short walk and you are in the heart of Brixham where you can enjoy the many eateries and shops, or stay in the property for a quiet drink while soaking up the atmosphere looking out across the harbour. The property was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The car park space provided is right on the quayside with easy access to the property. We would love to come back and wouldnÃÂt hesitate recommending to others.
We visit Brixham every year and have stayed in various properties but Fishermans Wharf is the best yet! Wonderful accomadation and location. The added bonus of a garage was really helpful
Matthew, the owner, made sure we had everything we needed, even going so far as to check the dimensions of the garage before we arrived.
As a family we have enjoyed these types of holidays a few times over the years and have been lucky enough to stay in some fab houses. The Pirates rest didn't disappointing.
On first impressions we were a little underwhelmed by the Pirates rest. It was a little dated and tired in places. The broadband/WiFi is almost non existent so make sure your teens have plenty of data! All that being said we soon got passed then little things and fell in love with the place.
It's a good size, plenty of space for a family to spread out or enjoy each others company. The kitchen is quite well equipped. Bedrooms are comfortable and of decent proportions.
The best things about the Pirates Rest are its location and views. Loved getting up in the morning and looking out over the sunny harbour.
It's close enough to the harbour and town centre without being too close and only a short walk to ...
We loved this cottage it was cosy and had every thing you need .The views are lovely .Its a great location close to main shops down a flight of steps about 100 coming back up will keep you fit !
Sea Breeze provided a very comfortable base for our stay in Brixham. We were 2 couples visiting friends nearby, and the entire stay was faultless.
From the easy and friendly reservation phone call to leaving the property, it went very smoothly. We unloaded the car at the top of the property and easily found parking just one street away. Inside, the house is lovely, fully equipped with top quality furniture and fittings, very clean and comfortable. Outside, there is a selection of sunny sitting areas.
The view from the lounge is amazing. We walked everywhere the throughout the weekend - up to Berry Head, and down into town (eating at the Wine Loft and Beamers), and picking up supplies from the high street and the fish market.
I appreciated the communication from Brixham Holidays - both by phone and email - it was exceptional.
Thank you for a lovely, memorable stay.
Had a fabulous stay at Seascape, apartment is beautiful, the view is outstanding, everything you need is in the apartment. A lovely welcome pack awaits you.
We always book with Brixham holidays and the apartments are always lovely.
The steps as mentioned in the description are plentiful, but you are in Brixham and everything in Brixham is on a hill, so you canÃÂt expect anything else, I wouldnÃÂt recommend it if you arenÃÂt very mobile or have trouble with hills, but I wouldnÃÂt recommend Brixham if you had any of those conditions to be honest.
Our fitness watches enjoyed the extra exercise we were doing.
About half a mile from the apartment you can swim in the sea water lido, which is lovely.
We are regular visitors to Brixham, but this is the first time we have stopped in the centre, I would definitely book this apartment again if we need something more central again.
Thanks for a fab...
Flat was very clean, airy and light.
Beds very comfortable and well presented.
Kitchen well stocked with utensils and crockery and appliances.
Lounge area very comfortable, tv buttons have a world of their own.
Dining area excellent.
Car parking a massive plus in Brixham.
Our fourth stay in Brixham and our best for accommodation.
Location is the main advantage to this property being close to coastal walks. The property does not have a very welcoming feel. A few pictures on the walls would help. Sofa is impossible to sit on comfortably. Boiler in cupboard in second bedroom is not the best location especially as it fires up during the night when neither heating or water is on.
Lovely little cottage with amazing views.Nice touch with the supplied goodies.Brixham has some very good restaurants but would highly recommend booking as very busy.Lovely places to visit in the surrounding area.Would highly recommend this property.
Modern apartment in fantastic location overlooking the harbour. Everything was as described and when we had a small plumbing issue midweek the agent arranged for it to be fixed quickly and unobtrusively. Pro tip. Walk up broad steps and turn right to have an easier climb to the flat. The steps opposite the dock go on forever. Great holiday base. Highly recommended.
We stayed at the Dragons Nest for a week and thought it was lovely! This house has a great position on the harbour edge with lovely views of the harbour. Very comfortable, lots of bathrooms but also lots of stairs! We didnÃÂt use the garden much but the view at the top level was stunning. Parking in the allocated space was tricky at first due to the posts and closeness of the drop into the harbour, but fine in general. The kitchen needs some storage for food as all cupboards are full. We ate out mostly so less of a problem for us. A very enjoyable week. Would definitely book again!
Just back from a great week at Driftwood, 4 adults and our mini dachshund, Mustard. The property has amazing views over the harbour and sea. Brixham is notorious for steps due to the steep sides around the bay, so we expected the climb up and down each day and it wasnÃÂt really any problem. As for parking the Ford Puma fitted in the garage with no problem too. We would recommend Driftwood as a place to stay and using Brixham Holidays this being our second property using these holiday letting experts.
3 adults 2 children and a dog !!! The house was perfect for all of us...location was great with the added bonus of parking and quiet area of Brixham...will defo be coming back.
We had a fantastic stay at the Watch House. The house is lovely and the view from living room window is stunning. We often just sat and watched. The house is very well equipped and the supplies of milk, tea etc were really appreciated. The only negative point I would make is that road is extremely narrow and difficult to pass due to parked cars. We found it tricky to negotiate and both the SainsburyÃÂs man and the lady who brought us take away declined to attempt it .
We found the property to be everything we needed.
Everything was easy to use
Even the parking worked really well
We visited all the places we usually go to.
Great value for money accommodation, for 2 adults. Good location ( not suitable for people who are not mobile), brixham pubs, restaurants & shops only a few mins walk from property ( up & down 100 or so, steep steps ), property does have glimpses of harbour & sea beyond , from living room window
Sandy Bottom is a lovely old cottage with an amazing view of the harbour from the panoramic lounge window. It's easy to while away the hours just watching the boats coming and going. It is very well equipped, a real home from home. Also it is well placed for access to Brixham town centre and all the shops and restaurants. The parking bay on the harbour just 5 minutes walk from the cottage was a real bonus. We would definitely stay here again.
Fabulous views and plenty of space. Unfortunately we were disappointed that the bathroom had a terrible smell coming from the drains and that there wasnÃÂt a second bathroom as the advertising suggested only a small cloakroom/utility room. The locked interconnecting doors to the other apartments need to be sound proofed as you could clearly hear the conversation of other guests.
