12 the quay, was perfect in every way,the position right on the quay with all the shops and restaurants the fishing boats the very many different walks all on your doorstep.the flat itself was perfect all mod cons from wet room to the view from the lounge windows.
Stayed for 4 nights with elderly mother. Such a good location with views across the harbour and Torbay. Always something to see.
Access to the apartment was very easy with a lift just outside the door.
We liked it so much that we have booked again next March.
This apartment is absolutely fantastic, perfectly placed for all amenities, clean, cosy and what a view. The parking was a big plus, we left the car in situ and walked everywhere as it is so near to everything. The stairs are a bit of an issue, if like me, you have dodgy knees but once you get up to the apartment it is thoroughly worth it. Nice little touches were provided, as in tea, coffee, biscuits and milk which was most welcoming. We are trying to work out when to go again as we enjoyed it so much.
Thank you for a brilliant stay.
Just returned from a lovely stay in Brixham at this modern apartment. Simply amazing views from the triple aspect kitchen/lounge/diner - you literally can stand there with a coffee each morning watching the harbourside activities! The apartment itself was spotlessly clean on arrival - we had one issue which was resolved immediately by the owners. Modern appliances in the kitchen and comfortable beds. And don't be put off by those steps - you do have to climb them, but they're not that bad and the view is worth it!
Fantastic location with a perfect view over the harbour. Very comfortable living areas. Plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Met the owners who ensured we were happy and provided a few good options for food. Having parking was ideal as not many places to park in Brixham. Would recommend as an ideal winter get away as well as a Summer spot.
Dunlin 3 is a credit to its owner who had thought of everything. Clean, smart and very comfortable. Quality accommodation. The gated access is secure but simple to use giving peace of mind. Stunning views.
Had a lovely week at Fishermans Wharf, the cottage was excellent. Owner Matthew was on hand to give guidance on where to visit and the best places to eat. Steps up to the patio were fun but not for the faint hearted. Will definitely like to stay again.
We absolutely loved our stay at Front Row Cottage. The cottage was exactly what we needed, very well equipped and the stunning views from each window made our stay very special. We wouldnÃÂt hesitate to recommend a stay here and will be back.
A nice apartment on the harbour. Handy for shops and restaurants. Very useful that it had an allocated parking space.
Fantastic apartment, really well finished. Super views of the harbour. Luxury home from home. Perfectly located. Only downside was parking was a long way up a steep hill, although you could in theory park outside to unload, the road was too busy when we arrived. Would certainly stay again.
A very enjoyable stay in devon in october Osprey 1 well positioned very warm and comfortable spacious and brilliant views.
Amazing place to stay if you are a big family who donÃÂt want to be under each otherÃÂs feet the whole holiday.
Emma and John are very friendly and always on hand if you need anything.
Close to everything you need from a stay in Brixham with the added bonus of safe parking a few minutes walk from the house.
just what we wanted for family birthday 7 day break it suited our needs admirably.congrats on prompt action when no hot water reported.
My fiance and I were really pleased with our stay, the apartment was wonderful and the location is excellent. We will certainly be back again in the future
The flat was very well equipped and the beds so comfortable. Enjoyed the view across Torbay and watching the cruise ships. The only thing we were unhappy with was the bath. It was very high and no handle on the wall. Also the wall along the bath was made of pebbles and mortar, not sure how that can be cleaned especially to Covid-19 standards.
The road leading to the property is quite narrow and parking can be a bit of a nightmare but after moving our cars twice we managed to find a perfect spot. Luckily for us we had not planned to move the car until the end of our stay. We planned to make full use of the beautiful walks around Brixham...and we did!
When we arrived at the property and open the hallway door into the lounge area you are instantly hit with the amazing views over the harbour. This was without a doubt why we opted for this cottage. The photos donÃÂt do the view justice it was amazing.
Unfortunately, there was no welcome pack so we did have to call on Carrie to assist with the WiFi. We also struggled with finding what we needed to do with our rubbish but after a quick call to the office we had a call back.
Any queries we had were quickly resolved and we couldnÃÂt have asked for much more.
The kitchen i...
Apartment was perfect for our short stay. Everything seemed to be in working order. The location was amazing. Hopefully we will return in the future.
Comfortable warm cottage, comfy bed, everything you need. Gets you fit walking up and down steps each day! One downside for us was the house in front having some scaffolding up which didnt block the view completely but was always evident. Luckily no workmen apparent as this would have been a problem.
Great having a Smart tv and access to Netflix during Storm Dennis!!!
This really was an amazing apartment with stunning views over Brixham Harbour and town, the fishing port and the marina, even more amazing as it became dark and all the lights came on. The apartment is very well equipped, has a lovely balcony for fine weather, comfortable settees, smart TV and dvd (for wet weather), and the town with all its pubs, restaurants and other facilities is just 10 minutes away (down 68 steps).
Parking is provided at the Harbour Quay, and the only very small quibble is that unloading and loading up after our break proved to be a bit of a challenge as the road above the apartment has double yellow lines, and is very narrow, so you do have to be organised.
But believe me, this holiday home is just fabulous. We would certainly stay there again.
Great place to stay with great views to the harbour & beyond.
All you need for a comfortable stay is provided.
Great homely feel to the property.
Take into account the parking & the steps though, ok if you're fairly fit, can't always park near to the property.
Would definitely stay again.
Everything was as you would want on a holiday, I really can't fault it. From information on how to find and enter the property to tourist information, everything was helpful.
Very enjoyable holiday, Tom's Nest had all you need for an enjoyable holiday, comfortable with a great view overooking the marina. Brixham centre with plenty of places to eat was an easy walk away.
House was very clean and tidy with just the right amount of room to accommodate our family, five adults and a child. Kitchen was small but very well equipped with all that we needed. Beds and bedrooms were extremely comfortable and bathrooms were clean.
We have used Brixham holiday homes on several occasions and as usual the whole process was friendly and easy. We will be going back but probably not to this particular house, this is only because of the number of steps to the property from the road coupled with our increasing age. The steps were not a problem for the younger members of the party.
The house was interesting but a few points to note:
For anyone taller than 4 foot the stairs are a challenge due to restricted heights, and the property is on four floors!
The house is right on a busy road, there isnÃÂt even a pavement so you need to be very careful leaving and entering.
The kitchen is quirky but is in need of updating, as does the cooking equipment ie pots and pans, hon, microwave etc.
On a plus side, the views are great, lots of bathrooms and location, road aside, is great with 2 minute walks to pubs, shops and cafes. The WiFi was good (although the TV needs updating) and the service from Brixham Holidays was very good.
This property is perfect for a couple. The views are stunning and you are kept fit walking up the 93 steps! Spotlessly clean with some special touches from the owner. It is well located for the town centre. Lots of places to eat - would recommend Rockfish (check out the specials of the day) and the Prince William. Hopefully we will return soon.
Four adults and our little dog stayed for a week in October in the Penthouse. The apartment was immaculately clean for our arrival, the views from the balcony are stunning and must be up there with the best in Brixham. There is a long climb from street level to the front door, we did count 100 steps but you canÃÂt have such a stunning view without an uphill walk. Everything in the town is very close to the apartment, we have to give a special mention to Dilly Dally Tea Room for afternoon tea, WOW!!!
We had a short break in October 2020, location was fab, just a few minutes walk along the harbour to the town. Couldn't fault anything with the property, bonus having garage and parking. Lovely touch of having a pint of milk, coffee, tea and cookies awaiting us on arrival. Good view of harbour and marina from living room, Would definitely book again.
We had a very pleasant stay in Brixham. The apartment is stunning; beautifully presented and in the most wonderful position. We were fortunate with the weather but on the rainy day we had, we were quite happy to sit for a while and just watch all the movements of the fishing boats etc., beneath us.
The bed was extremely comfortable, the linen very clean and fresh and there was plenty of cupboard space in the bedroom.
The car parking space is very tight as you will read in previous reviews. Having read the reviews, we took our smaller car and we were very glad that we did. I think the adjoining neighbours get a bit fed up with large cars parking over the lines and causing a problem.
Overall we had a delightful week. We would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to any of our family or friends.
Had a brilliant stay at The Cove
Cannot find fault with this apartment
Would definitely stay here again
We stayed as a family of 3 (with a small toddler) for a week and found Curlew 5 to be perfect for us, small and cosy but more than enough room for a family our size. The apartment is set in a very peaceful and quiet security gated complex, we felt very safe throughout our stay. Views out to sea are superb and there is a nice big balcony to sit out on of an evening. Kitchen is compact and well equipped. The walk into brixham is about 15 mins but be aware it is a very steep walk there and back, just something to note if you have a pushchair like we did. We will come to Brixham again and would happily stop at Curlew 5 or any other apartments at the Cove.
This place is fabulous, best views ever! Fabulous in every way, comfy , spacious and nice decor! Loved everything about this place! Canrt wait to go back next gear will definitely be going back here again abd again
Had a lovely stay at marine court nice quiet road with good parking near to sea. Missing bath mats were replaced in under two hours
An absolute fabulous stay at the Watch House, amazing views, amazing location. A great way to spend time in Brixham.
