The flat is clean, comfortable with everything we needed for our break. The view was fascinating; interesting with constant change whatever the weather. We loved having the books in the living room, it was like having a private library. We were warm and comfortable.
We did worry about parking but got the weekly ticket from Torbay council which worked well.
The stairs were steep for my 88 year old mother but she felt the view was worth the climb.
A lovely break.
Enjoyed our week in Brixham in this excellent , well equipped apartment in a prime location . Lovely views and all shops and restaurants within easy reach . Or a short walk round the harbour to the ferry to explore a few other places of interest .
we were down for a sailing competion location fantastic and we wanted to leave our van parked foir a few extra hours steve couldnt have been more accommadating best holiday ever.
Had a wonderful stay here. Weather was decent lovely surroundings and the flat was brilliant . Thanks
We absolutely loved our weeks stay in Cliff Cottage, the most amazing views from every window.
The cottage was homely & cosy, just loved it.
I had concerns about all the steps to and from cottage ,but they were no problem ,well worth the hike to get the beautiful views.
We will certainly be returning to the cottage.
We spent four wonderful days with friends at Coral. It met all our needs with everything functioning as it should. We hope we can repeat the experience some day.
What a fantastic place to stay. Fisherman's Wharf was of a very high standard with the added bonus of having a garage. A lovely welcoming touch of tea, coffee & biscuits ready for you after a long journey. The location was excellent with wonderful views of Brixham Bay. Lots of lovely walks in the area including Berry Head. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Very well located, right in the harbour so very handy for restaurants ,shops etc. The cottage was very well equipped with plenty of knives ,forks etc.Comfortable beds & quality linen, lovely having two bathrooms too.We booked this cottage for a relaxing break & that's what we had.Would book again.
Ok property thought it was a bit expensive for what it was but it was ok
ItÃÂs plus points were it was not noisy and a great view
A really homely & comfortable apartment in a great location. Very peaceful, but only a few minutes walk to the centre of Brixham with all its amenities. Such a bonus also having an off road parking space. As long as you can cope with the 30 steps up to the property you are well rewarded with wonderful views from the lounge & front bedroom.
We loved our stay here & would certainly return & recommend!
Everything about Midships was perfect. The booking was straightforward, the property itself was wonderful, the location great.
Would love to return one day.
3 of us stayed for 5 nights. This was a lovely cottage with a nice mix of old and new decor. It was lovely to have the mezzanine level, 2 of us spent a lot of time up here looking out over brixham. The beds are very comfy and the bathrooms extremely spacious. Personally I found the location too noisy being at the bottom of a hill and also the gulls kept me awake all and every night, however the other 2 guests did not have an issue with this. The kitchen is nice however there is no storage space except the fridge so we ate out 4 out of 5 nights. I would stay with the company again but not this cottage.
although we would stop in the complex again we would pick a different apartment as we love to be outside on holiday and get the BBQ going this apartment has no sun loungers or BBQ you can use most of the other apartments do have these... the weather was beautiful but we were sat bolt upright for the fortnight we were there... these are not cheap to hire so outside comfort is a must have..also something simple like egg cups not supplied I made some out of tin foil someone needs to have a good look around this place and get the small things that count sorted the last little niggle is on arrival all that was supplied was 4 sachets of coffee 6 sachets of sugar and 6 sachets of milk not a lot for some where out of town and we arrived by train not by car
If you are looking for scenery and space, then look no further as you will be rewarded with wonderful, panoramic views each evening from the living room and porch area of this property as well as some of the bedrooms. It is clean with a well equipped kitchen and the owners are helpful and welcoming. You are a short walk (and mostly level) from amenities and the saltwater pool. There are also several excellent restaurants to try out. No need to visit the tourist information centre as the owners provide a guide book plus every leaflet on south Devon and beyond. When we travel south, we are a total of 4 people with additional 2 - 4 visiting guests and this property ticked all the boxes to suit everyone. I would highly recommend.
Spacious property in fantastic location. All clean on arrival and good information booklet.
Parking spaces very convenient.
Would book again if going with a large family
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay very good setting very clean accommodation. The apartment was well stocked with everything you need for a self catering and relaxing break away from it all. We would recommend this property. Easy access to Brixham and what we booked it for. The coastal walks
Absolutely incredible stay, the property exceeded our expectations in fact the photographs didnÃÂt do the property justice. Everything was perfect and high quality with everything you could possibly need to make the stay as homely as possible. We will definitely be coming back, thank you.
We have stayed at The Cove before so knew the area. PUFFIN 4 is just as lovely, a perfectly relaxing holiday with glorious views across Torbay with the birds singing in the background. Again we saw the Brixham resident seal several times but this time no porpoises. Sitting on the decking breathing in the fresh air with a constantly changing view of boats, planes etc is idyllic. The only thing we missed was the use of the gas bbq, this had seen far better days and previous users obviously thought it wasn't there responsibility to clean it after use. Steve from Brixham Holidays popped out to inspect it and thoroughly agreed it was beyond help, hopefully the next residents will benefit from a shiny new bbq.
Puffin 4 itself is perfectly contained for a base to explore the area, as well on miserable days to snuggle up and stare out of the doors.
Our only issues as such which is not the o...
We absolutely loved our stay at Quay View. It was in the perfect location to explore Brixham. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished and the view over the harbour is the best you could ever hope for. Even if the weather was inclement, it was a lovely place to be in and we could still watch all the comings and goings on the quayside.
We has everything we needed from washing machine and dishwasher, to coffee and tea and milk to set us up when we arrived.
Matthew even phoned to check that we were happy with everything. He was most helpful.
Our only problem was that the parking space was very difficult to get in and out of, even with the excellent instructions provided by Matthew.
The apartment needed updating the doors were falling off in the kitchen needed taking off and fitting again. There was no were to put your toiletries in the shower room need a cupboard or shelves. The locks on the the patio doors were very stiff my daughter trapped her finger twice had to get maintenance to spray them with W d 40. The blinds in the double bedroom are to light as soon as the sun rose . The light cane through not good for a infant as it woke her up. The bed in the double bedroom was very noisy creeking all the time . There was no key to unlock the window in the kitchen had to borrow one from upstairs to be able to get it unlocked. We was quizzed by the maintenance man of why we had taken 2 cars even though we had discussed this when we booked and was told we could park one in the visit space . He was not happy. They provided cup for drinking but when you had hot liquids in...
Brixham is a good place to have a break , excellent food , walks and a good workout on the steps. Aways good value for money.
This property is very ÃÂhigh endÃÂ and has the best view in Brixham. We had wonderful weather and spent the evenings watching magical sunsets across the harbour from the balcony. CouldnÃÂt recommend enough.
We will be back
We loved this apartment so much that we had booked it again within a couple of days of arriving. It has amazing views of the marina and we had some beautiful sunsets. The flat is spotless and luxurious and the owners are lovely. It is near to town and has the benefit of parking nearby.
Met by hosts John and Emma on arrival and received a very friendly and informative welcome. Apartment immaculately clean and had everything needed for our week stay. Thank you for the bottle of wine in the fridge it was a lovely thought. We found the car parking easy and it was only 5 minutes walk away. Brixham very picturesque and has pleasant walks to nearby coves. The view from the apartment is amazing and the town and bistro pub The prince William is a only a short walk away. We would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be returning.
We loved Sundeck. Modern, bright, clean and spacious. The location for us was perfect though steps are steep so may be an issue for some. We were blessed with glorious weather which always helps ! Would not hesitate to recommend or return.
Lovely apartment that had everything we needed in a wonderful location. Short walk to the harbour and town centre.
Good location, plenty of nice walks and things to do. Owner/agency was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much.
We can't fault the apartment at all. Comfortable, great location, high quality furnishings, all mod cons, it was home from home, a perfect retreat after a busy day's sightseeing. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.
This a very nice house, in a quiet part of Brixham, about 4 min drive to Brixham harbour and the beach.
Good parking available at the house. It is just the right size for 4 people. We like Brixham and hope to rebook this house next year.
This cottage was very spacious and well kept and clean. It has a beautiful view from the lounge. However it deal feel a little unused - the garden was shabby and unfortunately one if the toilet seat lids was broken when we arrived and the boiler was turned off, so there was no hot water on arrival. This was fixed very quickly though. It just felt like the house hadnÃÂt had anyone there for a while as this may have been the case as we were early in the season. It could use some more homely touches and more furniture in the lounge, as it was a big room and felt a little empty and unloved! Otherwise itÃÂs a fabulous space and was very clean and tidy, but we had paid a lot for the place so it felt that it could have been a bit better looked after.
This was our Second Visit to Smugglers Cottage , Brixham - And as Last Year we Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay ! It Passes All the Yardsticks for a Holiday Home with Ease - Comfort , Cleanliness , Facilities Etc. Parking can be Difficult , but that goes with The Area. Price is Par for the Course , does`nt everybody wish Holidays could be Cheaper ? Highly Recommendable , and Well Serviced by The Owner.
We appreciated the quirkyness of this unique home..loved the views...loved the cabin room...loved the dragons clinging onto the chimney and loved the painted houses of Brixham. Thankyou
Great location with an excellent view of the harbour. All the information was helpful however the recommended car park (which worked out well with the week permit) oxen cove was difficult to find, is accessible via Freshwater car park which is easy to find. However once settled we enjoyed the cottage very much. Steep steps up from the quay but no more extreme than a broken escalator. A lovely cottage all working, the small kitchen was kitted out well enough to make a chicken roast a curry etc. Nice welcoming touches, we would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our week at the Penthouse. Even when the weather was poor the views are so stunning you can stay in and enjoy them from the apartment. It's a nice space to be in! We had chosen it for the views and we weren't disapponted. Location is great - just a few minutes to the shops, restaurants, bars and pubs. Obviously there are steps to climb but that is Brixham. The apartment was well equipped - even the knives were good - unusual in a holiday house!
The view was amazing only enhanced by the binoculars that were supplied.
A beautiful house really enjoyed our stay.
The steps down to the harbour are very steep and might be too much for some.
Would love to stay there again.
