Great quirky place we loved it. We stayed here with our little girl but would be a great options for two couples due to the en-suite bathrooms and general space.
Great selection of books however with a toddler on tow an option to read them was limited lol.
Both bathrooms were lovely. One offered a bath and shower the other a huge shower.
The apartment was warm, spotlessly clean and really welcoming. We appreciated the wine, milk and biscuits left...thank you!
The location is perfect being above a lovely coffee shop and a few steps away from Liberties cocktail bar as well as being in the heart of Brixham and in the harbour.
The apartment offered a full kitchen and we cooked most nights. There are two Co-ops and a Tesco however I would suggest walking up Middle Street first as it offers a good selection of local shops selling everything food wise including a fishmongers as well as gif...
We had a good stay- just a few strange paint marks and wallpaper peeling in corner of bedroom let it down. Cleanliness was perfect. Could do with updating compared to other properties in the complex.
Had a fantastic time. Weather wasn't too good but had the comforts of the apartment, nice little home from home. Everything you could think of to make our stay perfect....even had tea coffee and milk in the fridge..will definitely stay again.
It was a quiet location and bit of a view, difficult to manoeuvre car in and out of the parking space
The Bay View apartment was very comfortable, with plenty of space for 4 adults. The location was excellent for exploring Brixham town centre as long as you are fit enough to climb the 59 steps up from the road. Parking on the harbour side was good to have although unfortunately we found our reserved space was used a couple of times when we returned from a say out.
We requested a later check out on the last day and this was agreed with no problem. Nothing was too much trouble.
The cottage was lovely, with fabulous views from all rooms. The cottage is on a fairly steep hill with steps to it, so mobility is a must though, but worth the view when you get there!
Coral is a beautiful space that was just perfect for our first visit to Brixham. The views are wonderful and being able to sit in the sunny bay windows with a book after a coastal walk was blissful.
The house has been beautifully and thoughtfully refurbished and everything from the lighting to the comfy mattresses and bedding has been considered to ensure maximum comfort.
Customer service offered by Steven and the team was spot on.
All in all, a wonderful holiday with a wonderful company in a wonderful place.
P.s. you must visit The Curious Kitchen in Brixham - best coffee, cakes, brunch and lunch and a super friendly team!
Lovely cosy apartment. Spotlessly clean and in a great location with a short coastal walk into Brixham. Lots of little extras provided by the owners which were much appreciated. Great views from the apartment. Will definitely visit again
We had spotted this property on a previous holiday in Brixham and were thrilled when it was available on our dates. The house is large and very high spec. All the beds are very comfortable with quality linen. The bedroom on the ground floor behind the garage might be a bit remote for a younger child but is silent if you need peace to sleep. We had noted on other reviews mentioning that this room is cold and agree it is much cooler than the rest of the property, but it has a small electric radiator which was very effective at resolving this. The other 2 bedrooms enjoy views of the harbour and are huge. The living room and kitchen are comfortable and well equipped. There are two outside patio areas up some very steep steps. The top one has even better views of the harbour and distant views of Torquay. If you own some binoculars remember to bring them! The garage was big enough for our Re...
We arrived on Monday evening to find that the kettle had stopped working, after leaving a message we quickly got a message that a new one was on its way and within half an hour there was a knock at the door and a replacement, this quick service impressed us. The house was beautifully decorated, a little quirky, and had everything we needed. A home from home. The best thing was the views of the harbour, which was stunning and so relaxing to watch. I highly recommend this property and will be coming back.
Please be aware there is a pub very close by and drunks were heard at all hours of the night so the need to keep windows shut is a must. For a lot of people this is not a problem but I think people do need to know this. Apart from that it was a lovely flat with lovely views over the harbour.
We have just spent at week at Lapwing 1 in the Cove. Lovely property in a perfect location. Communication from Brixham Holiday homes was great and very prompt. The property was well equipped and cleaned well.
MidshipÃÂs is a superb family friendly apartment with a stunning location overlooking the harbour. Highly recommend for a staycation.
ItÃÂs the 2nd time we have stayed at the cove, the first time in Osprey 1, being a ground floor apartment you have to expect some noise from the upstairs apartment. I will definitely book an upstairs apartment if we stay again.
We were rather disappointed with the cleanliness of Osprey 1, the bathroom floor needs a good bleach and there is grimy silicone or grout around the shower area, I had read another review before we booked that mentioned faults with the apartment but in all fairness the review was last September and I honestly thought those faults would have been rectified seeing as itÃÂs now a February, they hadnÃÂt,
The towel rail does not get hot, the bin lid is broken, the oven tray was full of grease, the apartment smelt like stale beer, the settees are stained. There are cobwebs in the lounge area, the front door needs re packing as it has dropped and is quite difficult to o...
If you are looking for scenery and space, then look no further as you will be rewarded with wonderful, panoramic views each evening from the living room and porch area of this property as well as some of the bedrooms. It is clean with a well equipped kitchen and the owners are helpful and welcoming. You are a short walk (and mostly level) from amenities and the saltwater pool. There are also several excellent restaurants to try out. No need to visit the tourist information centre as the owners provide a guide book plus every leaflet on south Devon and beyond. When we travel south, we are a total of 4 people with additional 2 - 4 visiting guests and this property ticked all the boxes to suit everyone. I would highly recommend.
just what we wanted for family birthday 7 day break it suited our needs admirably.congrats on prompt action when no hot water reported.
Nice apartment well furnished. Proximity to the town was good. Views fantastic. Shame the pool was closed due COVID 19. Parking slightly tricky. Need to be good a reversing. On the whole an enjoyable stay.
This apartment is in an ideal location with fantastic views from the balcony, you can walk into Brixham in 10-15 minutes and getting to the main road is a 5 minute drive. This is a two bedroom apartment but I would say that its fine for 2 adults and maybe 2 adults with 2 small children but certainly not for 4 adults. The bathroom is very small with no shelf/cabinet to put your toiletries so having to keep taking them in and out was a pain. in the main bedroom you had to shuffle around the bed as it was very compact room.
The road leading to the property is quite narrow and parking can be a bit of a nightmare but after moving our cars twice we managed to find a perfect spot. Luckily for us we had not planned to move the car until the end of our stay. We planned to make full use of the beautiful walks around Brixham...and we did!
When we arrived at the property and open the hallway door into the lounge area you are instantly hit with the amazing views over the harbour. This was without a doubt why we opted for this cottage. The photos donÃÂt do the view justice it was amazing.
Unfortunately, there was no welcome pack so we did have to call on Carrie to assist with the WiFi. We also struggled with finding what we needed to do with our rubbish but after a quick call to the office we had a call back.
Any queries we had were quickly resolved and we couldnÃÂt have asked for much more.

The Sandpiper 3 Holiday Apartment was clean, nicely furnished with all mod cons including a smart TV. The location has lovely seaviews across Torbay. The only gripe about the accommodation was the rock hard beds that made you feel like you've done 12 rounds with Mike Tyson at the end of the night!
There are some lovely walks through the woodland and down into the 2 coves that span either side of the development. We were able to use the small club house on the adjacent holiday park although we went just out of the main season. The bar staff were very friendly and they do a bit of standard Pub grub and there's live music and good old bingo earlier in the eve. I would definitely recommend this as a great holiday location just slightly let down by the beds.
Ps Don't go to Paignton... A god awful place!!!
Comfortable warm cottage, comfy bed, everything you need. Gets you fit walking up and down steps each day! One downside for us was the house in front having some scaffolding up which didnt block the view completely but was always evident. Luckily no workmen apparent as this would have been a problem.
Great having a Smart tv and access to Netflix during Storm Dennis!!!
The property has the most fantastic views, so even if the weather is not so good you can sit on the sofa and watch the commings and goings of the town and fishing boats. Internally the property is very high spec, and it really is as good as the pictures make it out to be. I have very high standards and expectations, and Seascape lived up to them in the most part.
This was our Second Visit to Smugglers Cottage , Brixham - And as Last Year we Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay ! It Passes All the Yardsticks for a Holiday Home with Ease - Comfort , Cleanliness , Facilities Etc. Parking can be Difficult , but that goes with The Area. Price is Par for the Course , does`nt everybody wish Holidays could be Cheaper ? Highly Recommendable , and Well Serviced by The Owner.
Had a week at Poppin with my fiancée and without doubt, was the best staycation we have had.
The apartment is gorgeous with quality furnishings and the views are stunning (we spent many hours watching the fishing fleet coming and going). The free parking a couple of minutes walk away is a real bonus and the ability to unload directly outside the property very handy.
If you're looking for accommodation in Brixham, don't waste any more time searching and book Poppin. We certainly will when we return!

Truly great place if you want somewhere to get away from it all and just relax. Very snug. Top floor so a few steps but not too many. Very friendly greeting on arrival and helpful with tips on whats on and things to do locally. This was our third visit and every bit as enjoyable as the first. Tom & Jane. 2019.
What a lovely place to stay Sundeck is. Fabulous central location, great views, lovely and clean and extremely comfortable - we will definitely be making a return visit!
We stayed with our children and their grandparents at the Dragon's Nest for a week over February half-term. The house is well situated only a short walk from the many bars, restaurants and shops in Brixham with a fabulous view across the harbour which is lovely day and night whatever the weather! It was a bonus to have a car parking space as I believe they can be hard to come by in Brixham, it did appear small but we managed to fit a VW Transporter in there so it can't have been that small. My parents parked on a street not too far away and avoided any additional charges. The house was lovely and quirky, great decor with lots of stairs and levels so I wouldn't say it'll be great for people with mobility issues but for us it just added to the charm. The heating was easy to control and we did use the fire in the kitchen, there was plenty of hot water for all the many bat...
We both loved the cottage; the amazing view kept us entertained all week. The steps were a challenge - but we coped.
Our only complaint is that the bedding and the towels smelled and felt damp; not ideal.
We heartily recommend the cottage to anyone who likes busy harbours, a lovely holiday cottage and is fit enough to manage the steps up and down tot he town.
We bought a parking ticket (ã35) as we found, even though it was far from busy that there wasn't anywhere nearer to park. Again, we coped.
Lovely apartment in a beautiful location. Apartment is spacious with all necessary features to make it a home from home week. Great support when we needed it ie when we locked ourselves out!
Location is great with stunning views
Only negative is that there are a few things in the apartment that need updating/fixing e.g. broken chair on the balcony, cutlery drawer broken but these didnÃÂt impact our stay.
Would recommend and would return
Everything was explained before arriving. On arrival there was a lovely gesture tea coffee milk and lovely chocolate biscuits. There was everything we needed. The apartment was clean the only downside was the bathroom cabinet over the bathroom sink is big and we kept catching our heads. Other than that we spent a lovely week in Brixham
Great apartment in fantastic location.
Good access to apartment, only one flight of stairs and lift if required. Great service from both Brixham Holiday Homes and the owner. Only downside is the parking space. Located against a wall, difficult to manoeuvre into and that was with a Mini.
Great location. Peaceful with lovely views. Well kept grounds. Easy to get to the two small coves nearby. One of the coves can be located down a private path from the property.Very scenic short walk to harbour through gardens overlooking the bay. Lots of lovely fish restaurants. Accommodation is cosy and well equipped Has a lovely spacious decked outside area.
Would love to go back again
Perfect location. Close to Brixham center, but still away enough to enjoy quite place with marvelous views. Short walk to Berry Head and it's great Guardhouse cafe.
Several of the double glazed windows have failed so you see condensation between the glass and not the fabulous view. It is also not possible to close the window properly in the master en suite.
The house was fantastic apart from that.
