Very relaxing break ideal for restaurants car parking place ideal view from front window allows you to see all the harbour
A week in a lovely area by the sea. Fantastic apartment in an ideal location for going out and about. Booking was a breeze, checking in was effortless. Apartment warm and inviting with lovely views. Only thing out of everyoneÃÂs control was the weather. Very wet week but perfect location for pottering around town then heading back to dry off.
The apartment was clean and the beds comfortable. Great view over the harbour. Kitchen plenty big enough.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and probably won't be the last. 6 dolphin court is such good value for money as it's so comfortable with everything we needed and such a short easy walk to the town, also the western lady for the boat over to Torquay. It's great that there is parking, we hardly needed the car so it's good not to have to worry once it is parked up.
The glimpse of the breakwater out the main window is perfect and I could sit and watch the boat coming in all day. Fingers crossed we will be back next year.
Really nice well fitted out apartment. Lovely views from the windows. The only thing spoiling for us it is the narrow roads and lots of steps which makes it difficult to park and getting your luggage in and out. The car space on the harbour is good for small to medium cars but because we have a large car we couldn't park ours there as other cars couldn't get past.
We loved Cliff Cottage ,we had amazing sunsets and sun rises,an idyllic place to relax and let the world go by,with a short walk into the town enjoying a warm welcome from the local people.we would love to go back sooner than later.
We had a lovely stay at Coral. The apartment was in a perfect location with stunning views of the Harbor. The service provided by Brixham Holidays was excellent and we will definitely use them again. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped with the added bonus of complimentary wine, tea, milk and biscuits left on arrival.I would highly recommend this place.
a bit cramped in bedrooms but OK tttttttttttttttttfttttttttfffgffffftftffffffffffgggffgffffgggff fff
Very good location.House ideal for family sharing.ideally placed for many attractions.
The standard of the interior ,fittings fixtures and the view were excellent.
Front Row cottage is in a fabulous location in the lovely fishing town of Brixham. The cottage is very well appointed, styish and comfortable. The views are amazing from all rooms on the front aspect. The added bonus of parking is also great. I wouldn't worry about the car park been a 5-10 minute walk away as there is no local street parking. Takes the stress away of finding a space. We had a great week in Brixham and would highly recommend this cottage.
Great location lovely apartment, second visit and highly recommend. Fantastic views of the harbour, lots of lovely places to eat
Giovanni De Marco
This was our second visit to The Cove. The setting is beautiful overlooking the bay - especially when the sun shines.
The apartment was well equipped and comfortable.
Ideal location with plenty to do in the local area. Would highly recommend.
This is the second time this year we have stayed at this let. The first time it was clean and all lining and towels supplied, also little bottle of milk and a packet of biscuits to welcome us, not this time. But on our second visit we found it not to be as clean as first stay, no milk or biscuits, thats fine but would have been nice. We found hairs in bath and on dining room chair. rusty hair grip on bathroom window cill, full rubbish bag remained in kitchen, Dot much dusting as taken place. No bath towels or bath mat for one of the bedrooms. We suggest a little more attention to the cleaning and preparation to the accommodation. The girl that cleans the house did enquire if it was all OK, we said we did not have the bath towels and she delivered them to us. we did not mention the cleaning as it is not our place to do so.
But in all we like the accommodation and will book again, hopefull...
Our second visit to Midships and fourth to Brixham - here for the fantastic views, the comfort and the excellent value for money. . Already recommended to family and will no doubt be back again.
This was the first time we had stayed at the cove, and wasnÃÂt disappointed. We have stayed in other places around Brixham since 2010 but by far this was the the ideal place for our family.
The accommodation was clean and well laid out especially with three small children. Who all loved staying at the Cove and being able to see the boats in the distance.
Despite the bad weather on some days ion a days outing, once you opened the front door it was so warm and inviting that it was lovely to have cosy nights in after being out all day.
Waking up the first morning to a glorious morning of sunshine at the end of October and stunning views, was so tranquil and relaxing. After a wonderful week we were all refreshed.
If you are looking for scenery and space, then look no further as you will be rewarded with wonderful, panoramic views each evening from the living room and porch area of this property as well as some of the bedrooms. It is clean with a well equipped kitchen and the owners are helpful and welcoming. You are a short walk (and mostly level) from amenities and the saltwater pool. There are also several excellent restaurants to try out. No need to visit the tourist information centre as the owners provide a guide book plus every leaflet on south Devon and beyond. When we travel south, we are a total of 4 people with additional 2 - 4 visiting guests and this property ticked all the boxes to suit everyone. I would highly recommend.
just what we wanted for family birthday 7 day break it suited our needs admirably.congrats on prompt action when no hot water reported.
Apartment comfortable . Everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The weather was not good but that can't be helped, but the heating and hot water was very efficient.
The property is really well situated overlooking Torbay. It is equipped with good quality fittings and comes with everything you need (and more) for a self-contained, self-catering holiday ÃÂ
although we eat out each day. It is clean throughout and the double bed (didn't try the singles as there were only two of us) is very comfortable. The views from the lounge and from the balcony (that includes a bbq) are breath-taking and we enjoyed watching the dolphins following boats and playing in the bay ... amazing. Parking is reserved very close to the apartment. The only problem we found was, having a medium sized family car, accessing the key pad entry for the main gate which could not be done whilst remaining in the vehicle, due to the fact that the vehicle couldn't be positioned close enough to the key pad. Also the key pad was not illuminated well and when it was raining the key...
Amazing harbour views , plenty of steep steps to get in and out of town , not suitable walking up the steps for the elderly , fine for us though mid 40's
The Sandpiper 3 Holiday Apartment was clean, nicely furnished with all mod cons including a smart TV. The location has lovely seaviews across Torbay. The only gripe about the accommodation was the rock hard beds that made you feel like you've done 12 rounds with Mike Tyson at the end of the night!
There are some lovely walks through the woodland and down into the 2 coves that span either side of the development. We were able to use the small club house on the adjacent holiday park although we went just out of the main season. The bar staff were very friendly and they do a bit of standard Pub grub and there's live music and good old bingo earlier in the eve. I would definitely recommend this as a great holiday location just slightly let down by the beds.
Ps Don't go to Paignton... A god awful place!!!
The house is really close to the center of Brixham and at night you can hear all the sounds from the bay from the living room, you have a great view from the living room and even better from the decking at the back. You do need to go up and down some steps to get up to the apartment, so if you are infirm I would advise against but for us it was just a nice little workout!
The place was in good condition, everything neat and tidy with some wine and biscuits on arrival! Some good boardgames in there and the TV has netflix/amazon etc so there is stuff to do on rainy days. More than enough space for 3 adults!
Brixham itself is lovely, great seafood everywhere and pubs galore. You can do amazing coastal walks North and South (Berry Head), there is lots going on in Paignton and Torquay and a couple of National Trust places that are really worth a visit. Also lots of Seals once you get out o...
Just amazing holiday and apartment just the best holiday we've had in a long time. Couldn't fault it fantastic views and beautiful beaches nearby very happy holidaymakers. Will deffo return
This was our Second Visit to Smugglers Cottage , Brixham - And as Last Year we Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay ! It Passes All the Yardsticks for a Holiday Home with Ease - Comfort , Cleanliness , Facilities Etc. Parking can be Difficult , but that goes with The Area. Price is Par for the Course , does`nt everybody wish Holidays could be Cheaper ? Highly Recommendable , and Well Serviced by The Owner.
Excellent property with everything you need, fantastic location with stunning views. The owners were so friendly and helpful, however the staff at Brixham Holidays are so rude and unprofessional, disgusting attitude when I emailed them with a query, they thought it was acceptable to just take a further payment from my account after they had made a mistake while I was actually on my holiday.Absolutely disgusting! I would never book through them again!
Truly great place if you want somewhere to get away from it all and just relax. Very snug. Top floor so a few steps but not too many. Very friendly greeting on arrival and helpful with tips on whats on and things to do locally. This was our third visit and every bit as enjoyable as the first. Tom & Jane. 2019.
It was homely clean coud live there if kitchen bigger and a wash machine. Stairs not for the weak.everything on your door step ie brixham Harbour.glad I had my binoculars for fantastic views off torbay especially at night with the lights.me and hubby loved it and would definitely want to go back.
We appreciated the quirkyness of this unique home..loved the views...loved the cabin room...loved the dragons clinging onto the chimney and loved the painted houses of Brixham. Thankyou
A very enjoyable stay with views over the harbour. The apartment was comfortable and located near the pubs, restaurants and shops. Plenty of walks from the apartment and plenty of activity in the harbour. On the last day we bought some fish to take home from the fish market adjacent to the large sheds where the fish is landed.
The Penthouse is very well presented once you get inside. Unfortunately on arrival to the property we were greeted with an awful smell of damp dog in the foyer which continued throughout our stay. There are a couple of steps that are different sizes leading to the apartment too which is not ideal.
Neither of the extractor fans in the bathroom or en-suite were working and the en-suite did smell damp.
However, the views were amazing and the apartment was very well stocked with towels and kitchen utensils etc and a very lovely place to stay.
The apartment made our stay in Brixham excellent, it's in great location within walking distance of all amenities.
Loved the apartment, everything we could have wished for, beautifully presented. Sitting on the balcony watching, the harbour & marina activities with a morning cuppa.
The view was amazing only enhanced by the binoculars that were supplied.
A beautiful house really enjoyed our stay.
The steps down to the harbour are very steep and might be too much for some.
Would love to stay there again.
