The flat is superb and very clean, recently decorated and lovely views over the harbour. Well equipped and close to the harbour facilities and only a 5 minute walk to the shops in the town.
The parking space is the other side of the harbour, a 2 minute walk but nice to have a dedicated space. Short term parking outside for loading/unloading which is really useful. 5xxxxx.
We have been staying at Moorings Reach since it was built. No. 64 a firm favourite, however last year I was not sure I would be returning as the apartment had begun to look a little tired. A lovely surprise greeted us when we opened the door this time - the Owners have clearly gone to alot of trouble and freshened the whole apartment up. Bedrooms, living room and hallway all freshly painted and a lovely new kitchen. It really makes no. 64 the best choice. It is clear that the Owners do not just view this apartment as a rented out holiday let, but their second home too. The accommodation is ideal for my elderly Mother with a lift - beautiful views when she wants to rest of an afternoon whilst I go walking and flat walking into Brixham Town one way and the Breakwater the other. Needles to say we have already booked for next year.
Wonderful property, spotlessly clean, with high quality equipment and comfortable beds and sofas. Great views across the harbour and very handy for the centre of Brixham. Would definitely return.
Only reason I put 4 stars for conditions was due to the shower head in the en-suite. Hardly any of the holes letting water out and this was in reviews I read previously. DidnÃÂt put me off the stay and will definitely go back again and hopefully shower head fixed and will give it 5 stars.
My husband and I had a lovely week staying at Dolphin Court. The location is fantastic with great views looking out, the great bonus being our own parking space.
The apartment was comfortable and very well equipped, perhaps a little dated in some of its decoration, this however did not detract from our wonderful stay, thank you.
Beautiful Apartment in a Fab Location would definitely use it again and bonus was the Iscream Shop below where I tried a lot of the flavours and there were a lot to choice from Bliss
The apartments was lovely with great views over the Bay, the weather was great and all in we had a really nice holiday.
Brixham Holidays were very good and helpful when we asked questions before we left for the holiday.
This property provided everything I needed, and more. It even has a brand new washer / dryer machine, microwave, fridge, and freezer. The location couldn't be better either, being at the bottom of Bay View Steps. The photos on the website are accurate as the decor is clean and modern, and all the furniture is of good quality. The cleaning staff spent about an hour and a half cleaning it (I was sitting at a table at the Old Market House watching) so it was well cleaned before we arrived, and it showed. Thoroughly recommend both this company and this property.
We loved this apartment - very clean, modern, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The bonus was that it was only a few steps from the road yet had the most amazing views across the town, harbour and sea. We will definitely return!
Had a long weekend with two other couple in this lovely and spacious apartment that was more than adequate for the six of us '
A great ambient with lovely view of the harbour '
Here's to the next time !
Second time at dunlin 3 lovely clean, well equipped and good location. Tea,coffee, biscuits, milk and bubbly were appreciated!
We didnÃÂt have such good weather this time but still enjoyed our stay.
Coastal walk to broad stairs is lovely, harbour has good eating places and views. Would highly recommended this venue.
TheyÃÂre really beautiful apartments with an amazing sea view so if youÃÂre looking at going to visit I highly recommend that you do, lovely and quite, stunning view an not too long of a walk into Brixham (although tiring hehe) itÃÂs always great too that you can use the cafe ab shop in the campsite opposite.
The beds were super comfy, the settees not so much.
Cleanliness in the apartment could of been much better but all round lovely two weeks of peace and quite an time to relax. Already booked another apartment for next year :)
We stayed here at the end of July, and had the perfect family holiday. Every time we visit Brixham we find another hidden gem or scenic walk to the Harbour. The apartment had everything we needed plus a lovely sea view, the children loved the addition of the games table and even on the cloudy days enjoyed the shared pool. Even though the Cove is family friendly itÃÂs also quiet and peaceful and you can enjoy an evening drink on the balcony or in our case a very early breakfast looking out over Fishcombe Cove.
Dry modern and brilliant location. Cleaning not good, big stain on the poof and one chair also shower glass door filthy.
Had a nice stay at Plover 2. We got there around 3pm and the key was there so we let ourselves in. The view was stunning and it was very nice. Had a good stay and had everything we needed.
The cove is a lovely spot . Puffin 4 had everything we needed for our stay .Spotlessly clean .Kitchen had everything you needed and the oven was very clean unlike some other places we have stayed . The bed and sofa were very comfy .The view from the balcony or the sofa were stunning, just above a fabulous cove with a great little cafe . Lovely walks from the door step .A lovely walk into Brixham excellent places to eat we loved SimplyFish, Albero , Prince William and The Old Market House all very good . Some of the best fresh fish I have ever had .
My v small niggle was the bedroom curtains donÃÂt block out the light so I was woken up early . This wouldnÃÂt put me off returning as we had a fabulous stay and will be back .
Apartment was clean and well maintained. Comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. The view was lovely. Only negative is the roads leading to the development were narrow and tight to navigate.
We came to Brixham to visit family and Front Row was the perfect location. A very short walk and you are in the heart of Brixham where you can enjoy the many eateries and shops, or stay in the property for a quiet drink while soaking up the atmosphere looking out across the harbour. The property was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The car park space provided is right on the quayside with easy access to the property. We would love to come back and wouldnÃÂt hesitate recommending to others.
We visit Brixham every year and have stayed in various properties but Fishermans Wharf is the best yet! Wonderful accomadation and location. The added bonus of a garage was really helpful
Matthew, the owner, made sure we had everything we needed, even going so far as to check the dimensions of the garage before we arrived.
As a family we have enjoyed these types of holidays a few times over the years and have been lucky enough to stay in some fab houses. The Pirates rest didn't disappointing.
On first impressions we were a little underwhelmed by the Pirates rest. It was a little dated and tired in places. The broadband/WiFi is almost non existent so make sure your teens have plenty of data! All that being said we soon got passed then little things and fell in love with the place.
It's a good size, plenty of space for a family to spread out or enjoy each others company. The kitchen is quite well equipped. Bedrooms are comfortable and of decent proportions.
The best things about the Pirates Rest are its location and views. Loved getting up in the morning and looking out over the sunny harbour.
It's close enough to the harbour and town centre without being too close and only a short walk to ...
Cosy sparkling-clean cottage with great views and a wonderful location. This was our first visit to Brixham and we loved it - especially as we could get down to the harbour (via 100+ steps!) in five minutes. We had good weather so enjoyed walks on Berry Head and ambling to local beaches, but the area has a lot to offer if the weather is not so kind. A small problem in the cottage was dealt with immediately by the company and extremely nice local owner. In all, excellent value for money and a very good experience.
Sea Breeze provided a very comfortable base for our stay in Brixham. We were 2 couples visiting friends nearby, and the entire stay was faultless.
From the easy and friendly reservation phone call to leaving the property, it went very smoothly. We unloaded the car at the top of the property and easily found parking just one street away. Inside, the house is lovely, fully equipped with top quality furniture and fittings, very clean and comfortable. Outside, there is a selection of sunny sitting areas.
The view from the lounge is amazing. We walked everywhere the throughout the weekend - up to Berry Head, and down into town (eating at the Wine Loft and Beamers), and picking up supplies from the high street and the fish market.
I appreciated the communication from Brixham Holidays - both by phone and email - it was exceptional.
Thank you for a lovely, memorable stay.
This cottage has outstanding views across the harbour and bay. It is very well situated for exploring Brixham and accessing coast path walks such as Berry Head.
We were a party of 6 and seating in the lounge area was a bit tight - also the patio not really big enough to seat 6 people. The cottage is very spacious and well laid out just needed more seating.
The bathroom and kitchen looked clean however we felt the cottage had not been very thoroughly cleaned eg lots of dust behind bathroom door, clothing and carrier bag left under bunk beds, carpet stained. With a bit of attention to detail this could be an outstanding holiday property.
Had a fabulous stay at Seascape, apartment is beautiful, the view is outstanding, everything you need is in the apartment. A lovely welcome pack awaits you.
We always book with Brixham holidays and the apartments are always lovely.
The steps as mentioned in the description are plentiful, but you are in Brixham and everything in Brixham is on a hill, so you canÃÂt expect anything else, I wouldnÃÂt recommend it if you arenÃÂt very mobile or have trouble with hills, but I wouldnÃÂt recommend Brixham if you had any of those conditions to be honest.
Our fitness watches enjoyed the extra exercise we were doing.
About half a mile from the apartment you can swim in the sea water lido, which is lovely.
We are regular visitors to Brixham, but this is the first time we have stopped in the centre, I would definitely book this apartment again if we need something more central again.
Thanks for a fab...
Enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Very close to amenities, restaurants and lovely walks. Would highly recommend.
Lovely quiet location with beautiful views particularly from the main bedroom window. Fully equipped to cater for all your needs. Location is ideal if you want to be a little bit out of the town and have ample parking on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Brixham town centre and Berry Head. A couple of things to mention firstly as everyone has mentioned in their reviews there was no information pack. A simple folder with some booklets on appliances and leaflets on the area and what is on offer would be helpful. Although there was a washer/dryer a clothes airer would've been useful, as when we stayed the weather was amazing and we had no means to hang out clothes to dry. And finally the settee someone did mention back in their review in June that they found it hugely uncomfortable, we can confirm that it is extremely uncomfortable and it needs to be replaced. Everything e...
Lovely little cottage with amazing views.Nice touch with the supplied goodies.Brixham has some very good restaurants but would highly recommend booking as very busy.Lovely places to visit in the surrounding area.Would highly recommend this property.
Modern apartment in fantastic location overlooking the harbour. Everything was as described and when we had a small plumbing issue midweek the agent arranged for it to be fixed quickly and unobtrusively. Pro tip. Walk up broad steps and turn right to have an easier climb to the flat. The steps opposite the dock go on forever. Great holiday base. Highly recommended.
We stayed at the Dragons Nest for a week and thought it was lovely! This house has a great position on the harbour edge with lovely views of the harbour. Very comfortable, lots of bathrooms but also lots of stairs! We didnÃÂt use the garden much but the view at the top level was stunning. Parking in the allocated space was tricky at first due to the posts and closeness of the drop into the harbour, but fine in general. The kitchen needs some storage for food as all cupboards are full. We ate out mostly so less of a problem for us. A very enjoyable week. Would definitely book again!
Driftwood is a superb house and must be one of the best situated in the town, with amazing panoramic views across the bay. The 3-storey layout worked really well to give everyone some space to themselves throughout our week's stay, but also with a lovely open plan kitchen/diner/living room for spending time together. Brixham Holiday Homes have a very professional operation, excellent communication, reassuring in respect of deposits, payments and guarantees, and made the whole process from initial booking to final check-out very smooth.
3 adults 2 children and a dog !!! The house was perfect for all of us...location was great with the added bonus of parking and quiet area of Brixham...will defo be coming back.
We had a fantastic stay at the Watch House. The house is lovely and the view from living room window is stunning. We often just sat and watched. The house is very well equipped and the supplies of milk, tea etc were really appreciated. The only negative point I would make is that road is extremely narrow and difficult to pass due to parked cars. We found it tricky to negotiate and both the SainsburyÃÂs man and the lady who brought us take away declined to attempt it .
We found the property to be everything we needed.
Everything was easy to use
Even the parking worked really well
We visited all the places we usually go to.
Great value for money accommodation, for 2 adults. Good location ( not suitable for people who are not mobile), brixham pubs, restaurants & shops only a few mins walk from property ( up & down 100 or so, steep steps ), property does have glimpses of harbour & sea beyond , from living room window
Overall we were happy with this property. The main positives are that its got a great view the upper floor balcony and its very centrally located to the town centre amenities, although I wouldn't recommend it to anybody with mobility issues as the steps down to the town centre are very steep.
The property could do with a bit of an overhaul in respect to cleaning of outdoor areas and windows, plus there seems to be a ventilation issue in the bathroom which is causing damp stains, Also as mentioned by another reviewer the main cooker only worked for the first day and no instructions are available to get it working.
