Also a great family base for exploring the area. Wi-fi and dedicated parking space on harbour side included.
Front Row is a charmingly decorated cottage in a prime position at the top of King Street, with stunning views over Brixham harbour from every floor. The open plan lounge/diner/kitchen and cloakroom are on the ground floor, with king size bedroom/bathroom suites on each of the upper floors.

Fully refurbished in 2018, the new owners have tastefully furnished and accessorised this charming harbourside cottage. Exposed stone walls, rustic beams and dozens of deft touches make this beautiful cottage a real home from home.

A wood burning stove forms the heart of a spacious lounge dining area that enjoys magnificent coastal views from a large picture window. Comfortable sofas, a dining table for 4, large TV and coffee tables complete the scene. The lounge leads to an open plan traditionally fitted kitchen with serve over breakfast bar with a downstairs cloakroom & W/C and a utility area with a washing machine at the rear.

The 2 bedrooms are romantically fitted and decorated and feature exposed stonework, King size beds, bedside tables, and TV’s should you somehow tire of the views. Ample built-in wardrobe space is included. The next door bathrooms are equipped with large modern shower areas and the top floor bathroom includes a lovely roll top bath as well.

A dedicated numbered parking space on the harbour side below the property is included - very rare for Brixham.

Short breaks of 2 nights or more are available most of the year, excluding the 5 peak summer weeks and the last May bank holiday, when bookings are weekly from Saturday to Saturday.

Children are welcome at Front Row Cottage. Travel cot and high chair are provided. The owners are not able to provide bedding for the travel cot. Unfortunately, no dogs are permitted. Sorry, Rex!

IMPORTANT NOTE - The property next door to Front Row Cottage is currently undergoing refurbishment works that are likely to continue through to early summer 2021. Therefore at times, there may be some noise disturbance during normal working hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

We came to Brixham to visit family and Front Row was the perfect location. A very short walk and you are in the heart of Brixham where you can enjoy the many eateries and shops, or stay in the property for a quiet drink while soaking up the atmosphere looking out across the harbour. The property was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The car park space provided is right on the quayside with easy access to the property. We would love to come back and wouldn’t hesitate recommending to others.

Lovely views from the cottage and a great location just a few minutes walk from the town. The cottage had everything you needed it was very well equipped. Lovely walks up to berry head and trips out to Torquay and goodrington. The parking was a bit difficult getting out of the parking space as it's on the harbour. Otherwise we had a fabulous 2 weeks in beautiful brixham.

Spent a week here in July with my wife and 2 teenage daughters. Accommodation was a very good standard with everything you may need - home from home. Clean, comfortable and well appointed - toilet on every floor and 2 bathrooms with great showers or a bath. If you want to cook then everything you'll need or plenty of places to eat out or take away. Wi-fi was great and 3 TVs for those who like to watch, DAB radio, hairdryers.... as I said everything you'd have at home. Binoculars came in useful just watching all the boats going in and out. Stairs are a little steep so may not be suitable for those with any mobility issues. Location overlooking the harbour was spectacular and a very short walk into main town. Lay in bed in morning with a cup of tea just looking out the big window and all the harbour activity. Parking very close buy. Plenty to do in and around Brixham.

We have been staying in Brixham for over 20 years so know the area extremely well. Front Row Cottage is in a great location, just far enough from the town to be away from the mayhem of a top tourist spot but also close enough for an easy walk into town with all the amenities, shops, pubs restaurants etc. The choice of steps or road is a personal preference. The view over the harbour (both day and night), has to be one of the best in the town. This is made even better by the panoramic windows in all front rooms. Especially bedrooms. The cottage has all the amenities a family or couple of four would ever need. TV's in every room, although why would you need to watch TV with those views! The kitchen is modern and well stocked. A comfortable lounge/dining area with the addition of a wood burner if needed. The booking agents indicated that there was building work in the adjacent property, but this was not problem both the builders and new owners were extremely considerate and we had no issues whatsoever. The addition of a nearby parking spot is a must in Brixham as parking is a challenge. Be ready to wash your car though following seagull attacks!! Overall a 5* holiday home at a good rate.We will definitely be booking again.
