High Seas has been built into the hillside and carefully designed to take maximum advantage of the magical views over Brixham Harbour and all of Torbay. Approached via private steps leading off North View Road, an extra wide front door opens into a cathedral-like open plan living space with vaulted ceilings and breathtaking panorama of sparkling blue water and azure skies of Torbay. In addition to the wall of full width, floor to ceiling folding doors that open onto the main terrace, thoughtfully positioned Velux windows (electrically operated) ensure the entire first floor is bathed in light and air.

This stunning property is arranged over 2 floors, the 1st floor open plan living space is finished with under floor heated wood-effect ceramics. It has a superb fitted kitchen with every possible built in appliance, an expanding glass dining table with seating for 6, a corner area with sofas (one is a sofa-bed), coffee table and large smart TV. Full width folding doors lead to a large terrace with outside furniture from which you can enjoy breathtaking views over Torbay. An extra wide door off of the kitchen leads to a utility room with washing machine and then into a large wheelchair friendly disabled bathroom with w/c, wash basin and shower with bench.

A glass balustraded staircase opposite the main entrance door leads down to the luxuriously carpeted lower bedroom accommodation. The spacious master en-suite bedroom on the left has a king size bed, built in vanity table & chair, built in wardrobes. A glass door opens onto the full width balcony with majestic sea views. The large en-suite shower room is equipped with luxury step in shower, w/c, wash basin and heated towel rail. The 2nd en-suite bedroom also features a king size bed, built in vanity table, built in wardrobe and a glass door that opens onto the full width balcony with panoramic sea views. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a bath tub with shower over, w/c, wash basin and heated towel rail.

There is also a large glass balustraded upper patio laid to astroturf to the left of the property that enjoys wonderful sea views.

PARKING: Dedicated parking for 1 car is included. This dedicated parking space is approx 4 mins walk (320 metres) away.

This property has a key safe for 24 hour access.


* Wheelchair accessibility - the ground floor of High Seas is suitable for a wheelchair user. However, the wheelchair and the disabled person will need to be carried down the 10 steps to the entrance door. The ground floor has wide open spaces and a fully accessible wetroom with w/c and shower with bench. One of the sofas in the lounge converts to a luxury sofa bed.

Amazing house. Can't fault anything about it. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Possibly one of best locations in Brixham and stunning inside. Close to all amenities walking down steps that lead onto the harbour. However it was great to spend time on the balcony enjoying the fantastic view of the harbour as well. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

I cannot recommend this place more highly. The view is possibly the best we have ever had anywhere in the world. The accommodation is modern and clean, and close to all amenities. it is not ideal for those with mobility issues as it is on a hill and many steps to get to it, but for everyone else it is perfect. We hope to return ASAP and make many more happy memories.

Everything about Highseas apartment is luxurious from the high quality kitchen and bathrooms to the white goods, oven, kettle and toaster. Plates, glasses and cutlery also excellent quality with everything you could need except a microwave, but this was no issue for us. The view is just mesmerising and you just can’t take your eyes off it by day or night, there’s always something to see with the boats coming and going. Only reason dropped one star for condition was due to chipped wall by by fold doors that needs touching up and only 3 seats on balcony when 4 are staying, but l am being really picky here. Certainly didn’t put us off though as have already booked a fortnight next July!

High Seas is situated in an elevated position at the top of North View Road. It's a 5 minute downhill walk to the harbour area with its great choice of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. The property also comes with a dedicated parking space for 1 car - 4 mins walk away.
